Sports Class

Both boys have been in s class called multisport for the past school year.  The class is for 3 and 4 year olds.  This has created some issues since the boys can't keep their hands off of each other for an hour!!! They have been learning more and more as the weeks have passed - soccer, tennis, field hockey, etc.  It's an intro into sports that is suppose to help develop gross motor skills.  In the fall we plan on separating the boys into their own classes to allow them their own time and opportunity.

This past Saturday we went to an indoor soccer field since our normal place was under construction.  There was a soccer class before us of kids a bit older than M.  He was so interested in watching them.  I completely choked up when I looked at the top picture.  It's so him right now.  He will be 5 in September.  He wants to be the older kid, yet he's still this little boy that is so unsure at times.  He melts my heart.

And this cute little boy has been trying to pick his own clothes out lately.  I've been trying to teach him how to match tops and bottoms.  He was insistent that the grey top matched the grey bottoms!!!  I tried to tell them the shorts were more tn and lets try some navy shorts.  Nope he picked matching and had to wear them to class!!!

The boy who wants to be older just can't shake the little boy in himself . M flies to the other end, arms stretched wide to start class.  Fly little boy, fly!!!  (R is sitting in the goal far right)
